I feel great about this effort. A tiny bit of headwind the first 2+ miles, a few rollers in the middle, and then a long 1.5+ mile climb to the finish (passed five people going up that hill). It was noted by my wife that I didn't have the same "kick" at the end that I have before. I think I was working pretty good, but it's a good sign (to me) that I didn't have much gas left in the tank. A well run race, and hopefully a sign that training for the half is on the right track.

when is your half? your miles are close and seems like you could have held on for 3 more miles. Nice show.

3 weeks from yesterday. I feel pretty ready. Thanks! If it hadn't been for that darn hill at the end, 3 more miles at that pace would have been certainly doable. Hoping for <1:30.

Check out the elevation on the map. Most of that was uphill. And after my half in three weeks, I'll probably not RACE longer than 10k for about a year. It's time to get fast.
