Notes

Race report later but I'm very pleased. Not even a hint of "Dwighting" at the end despite the rising temps near 70 degrees at the finish. Not one mile in the 9s. Consistent. I have a lot of people to thank. My good buddy Greg who I could ride in a car for hours and it would seem like minutes and who came to Scranton for me even when he wasn't feeling good. My best running partner, Chris, who was right behind me and BQed by a _hitload with people yelling Go Steelers for her that actually helped me along also. The Unbelievable Zombie crew, Deb, Becky, Julia, and Faye. My special friend, Marsha, who ran a marathon even with the knowledge that her system would give her problems.

Marianne, C-Rad, Cecilia, Fast Carie, Brad and Shane who cheered us in and others I will unfortunately forget.

Here are the statistics: I didn't BQ. Far from it. But I didn't Dwight. By my rough math, I ran 1:54:20 for the Half and the exact same for the 2nd half. 5 minute PR which basically completes my round of PRs this year at every distance. 5K, 5M, 10K, 10M, Half Marathon, Marathon and 50K.

Awesome running. Sorry I didn't see you before or after the race. I knew you'd run well.

Those are some sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet splits! Congratulations again.

Mom4Running

Look at those splits, you look like a pacer. What a way to crush your PR!! I'm honored to be one of many to help get you to your fabulous race.

Congrats D ! Looks like you were a pacer. Imagine what you could have done if you actually raced it ?!! hehehe. Man, I am so very proud and thrilled for you and the PR! So well deserved! Also, it was SO SO nice to see you at the hotel early race morning during breakfast. Chatting about our lives really helped settle me down from an absolutely horrific week. Thank you. BTW, you looked good before the race and finishing too! Very smooth! Stay thirsty (for PRs) my friend.

You have coined a new meaning for the term, "Dwighting" and it's lookin' good! You just keep getting faster and faster! Way to round off your PR streak on this one. I think your Dad was with you during this race. You make us all proud. Looking forward to even more race details to come!

Wow, amazingly consistent! And not one mile under 9 minutes. It looks like you had a game plan, stuck to it, and succeeded. Way to go!
