Notes

Big PR of over 6 minutes from 2007. Weather was great. Report coming later. Big thanks to Greg who powered me through. Thanks to my running buddies, Chris, Debbie, Becky and all the Zombies and HFers who sweated with me. Thanks to Pat W who put up with my whining in all our training sessions.

This time, I did not "Dwight".

Becky Holtz

Nice strong splits for the entire race! Glad you didn't "Dwight"

Papa Farmer

Great job! The calf wouldn't have had any trouble if you had beer in the last mile :)

izzy-b

We once knew this runner named Dwight

With calves that were strung up too tight

Then Pfitz the big jerk

Put Dwight hard to work...

Sub-4 in the books -- out of sight!!!!

I can't even comment after Izzy because it won't be nearly as amazing. But congrats man, way to power through, no matter what happens, those last few miles are painful. Still, you did it, and in the end, that's all that matters!

Debbie_S

Awesome and amazing effort today! Congratulations!!! And, as usual, Izzy delivers a spot on limerick to celebrate the moment:)

I think you created a NEW meaning for the apparent verb, "Dwight". I hope that I will "Dwight" my next marathon! You tore Steamtown into smitherines. You've been building up to this moment for a long time. Pfitz now pronounces you, The King of Running.

Christrickery

So very happy for you!!! Cannot wait for the report.

cmerenda

Really impressive splits. So glad this finally happened on race day!

Colorado Gump

Thank you Zombies & Chris and Caroline. I have said that it is an individual race but it was a group effort to get to the start line. Really pleased.
