Race report separate. Just some notes:
Tougher course than led to believe. The extreme downhill really doesn't help. Quads are screaming despite being very careful in the beginning 10 miles. The early hills take it out of you. Mile 2, 4, 10-12. Mile 23 hill is nasty. I basically held pace for sub 4 hours through 21 miles.
All that said, I was woefully undertrained.
