Notes
Race report coming later. I'm very thankful to all the HFers who helped me succeed and BQ today. Today belonged to Faye and her selflessness to pace me. I had no problem until 22.8 when the calf started misfiring. Geared down the pace to hopefully avoid complete seizure. (I know, tired old story from me and my legs.)
Thank you to Chris and Greg for all the Hanson miles. We worked hard this year. We had some fun also. Dirty German 50K in the torrential rain and flood with Chris is probably one of my favorite running memories.
So I BQed. Unlikely to actually get to go but I don't care. This was a goal that seemed doable in 2013 but was slipping away year by year as age crept up.
