Simulated half marathon on home treadmill. Goal was to run a 1:24:50. Completed the 13.1 miles in 1:24:25. Incline was set at 0.5% for the entire run.
Warm-up mile of 8:40'ish. Then kicked it into half mary race pace. First race was set a 6:36 (9.2 MPH) - then inched it up to 6:31 (9.3) for the next four miles. Felt good. Upped it again on the start of the 6th mile to 6:27 (9.4 MPH). Kept it there for the next 6.5 miles. Then starting pushing it for the final 2.6 miles.
Had a really strong fish. Killed mile #13 in 6:05. Had the treadmill going in the 10.2-10.5 MPH range for the final 1/2 mile.
After the race, did an easy 3.9 mi at around 8:00/mi pace.
