Notes

This workout did not go as planned. That's OK; it still was decent. My goal was to do a warm-up mile and run a 10k at race pace of 5:57, to finish around 37:15-20. I did 0.8 miles and decided to kick it in to race pace at 6:00/mi. I held this for 2 miles and then bumped it up 0.1 MPH to 5:56. I started to struggle on the fourth mile. I felt a cramp and decided to back out of race pace after four. I did 4 miles in 23:52, caught my breath in a jog and eased the rest of the way at 7:24's.

Not pleased that I had to back off, but that's OK - it still was a good workout. I wanted to save some juice for the 18-miler in the morning with Nate and Sergio. I have another opportunity to nail this workout in 2 weeks. I will be READY.
