I live in Manhattan and started running regularly in 2005. I am a life-long athlete (soccer and basketball mainly), but took up running as a more sustainable way to stay in shape. I'm an attorney who works long hours, so being able to jump out for a quick run is key for me. I often run in Central Park with my adorable dog, and sometimes with my handsome husband as well (although he's much faster than me, so I prefer the pup!). I try to run at least 3 times per week and play soccer once a week. I love running races and I'm a member of New York Road Runners here in NYC.
