Disclaimer: I am trying to run at least once a week, last week doesn't count because I decided it didn't count.

Got home (I live in an apt with my host fam) from my first día of class in España and although the Spaniards will tell you it is very cold outside, I found the weather (50 n sunny) to be quite pleasant. So with the Spanish sun warming my face, I headed out for my first run in Spain. Granada is not huge but just big enough that I could definitely get lost so I was very excited when I successfully made my way to the river where I was intending to end up. The river is currently a trickle but when the snow starts to melt in the mountains it will be much bigger. Nonetheless it was a very nice place to run. There is a gravel path right along the river that lets you look straight at the mountains (<3 happy sara soul) and it seems to go for a very long time. There was also a bunch of outdoor workout equipment along the path such as pullup bars, outdoor ellipticals (!!), stationary bikes, lifting machines, etc, all just sitting out free to use! Genial!

Hope life's treating you all well, haven't been gone a week but I feel like I've been gone two months. Someone eat a Reese's for me. Hasta luego!
