Home for a day! City with my mom then visited my grandma then popped in as the treat-bearing special guest at HC's practice. So wonderful to see some old teammates' faces and talk a little. 45 on the ellipticals in the good ol fitness center. I learned that every time they run past my house they have a competition to see who yells my name first. Cuties. Told my young friend Grace how wonderful U of I is (at McCabe's request, but it's true) :'D Then went home and ate dinner with two of my neighborhood best friends, played with my neighbor's puppy, then got on a bus back to school. Feeling refreshed and better yet my mom sent me back with apples, pears, peaches, cinnamon cake, and pumpkin muffins <3
