So at lunch there was a dessert labelled "pudding" however there was a mixup in the kitchen and so it was actually straight chocolate frosting which was delicious but upset my stomach so this was a very derpy run. I kept stopping and cut the run short. But I'm going hiking so it's ok right?? I feel like at this point I must be adjusted to the altitude so it's frustrating that my runs are still tough. Today obvi was the frosting overdose but I am worried I am out of shape!!! Iron is still not where it should be (need to get back on my game) Uggghhhh I just wanna nap lololololol running is hard

If you wanna read about some interesting people and some thoughts about life, continue reading: I love love love all my coworkers in the deli, they are from all over and most of them have had such interesting lives and they make me feel like a basic innocent girl with an easy life but whatever they are super nice and I have learned so much from them. I think I have learned more from my experiences this summer already than I did my entire first year of college. If anyone is looking for a summer job in the coming years, I think working at Yellowstone has great potential to be life-changing and I'm definitely going to cry when I leave. Anyway, today I found out that three of my coworkers have been homeless in their lives. Two of them are dating each other but are in an open relationship and they do seasonal jobs like this one all year round because they are very free-spirited and they don't like to have life plans. They just like to see where they end up and before this job they were homeless and living out of a truck. But they seem to be very happy even though obviously they have basically NO money and no home other than the dorms and nothing is secure in their lives. There are so many other interesting lifestyles out there and so many can lead to happiness and success doesn't necessarily come from good grades and a career. U of I is a great school but it could never teach me that. I have never been surrounded by such a diverse group of people (or by so many drugs lol), I feel like I am finally tasting a tiny bit of real life. I am very happy with the way my life is and I don't think I'm very judgmental but I think I am going to be 100% less judgmental after this summer. Cool stuff.
