Felt like I got run over by a bus today but hey negativity never got anybody anywhere good sooooo here are some positives: the scenery was great, the wind makes the lake wavy and the sun was making it sparkle and the blue sky was reflecting on the water so it looked so incredibly blue, it was lovely. At least I am encountering these running problems early on in the summer so I have time to make a comeback. My shins and everything else feel great so I've got that going for me. I saw super cute kids at the deli today which is a rare sight bc most of our customers are older but it made me miss children <3<3<3 also yesterday on my hike I saw THE CUTEST BABY EVER so naturally I started talking to him and reached out of his little carrying pack and grabbed my hand and I just about fell off the mountain because my heart was melting. Going on a midnight full moon hike tonight, can't wait to see all the stars!!!!

seeing the stars while camping is the coolest thing I've ever seen. Hooray for positivity!

I agree! There are no street lights in YNP so if you drive a couple miles at night and turn your car off you can see soooo many stars it is incredible
