Why do I run: I want to compete in Masters competition. |
Why I started running: After being a life-long runner (started when I was 9 when USATF was known as the AAU) and achieving moderate success as a youth, a prep, and a collegiate, I stopped running about 16 years ago. You know what is said, once running is in your blood, you always want to return. So, I guess the better question is why did I start running again? Well, I miss the feeling of being in shape, achieving the runner's high, and being able to eat without counting calories. |
