3 miles. Wearing jeans and 2 jackets. I thought I would mostly walk and maybe jog just a bit. But I found myself jogging for most of it. Until I got very warm and sweaty. I used my old Garmin, so no HR data. Pace was very slow, yet I felt tired in a “woozy” sort of way towards the end. My HR probably stayed below 126 the entire time (34:37). I’m wondering if I need to spend a LOT more time at these easy paces to fully develop the slow twitch muscles. That’s the theory with the Liw HR training — easy enough effort, and ONLY the slow twitch get recruited. I perhaps have never fully developed these muscle fibers. Keep easy days easy, and hard days hard.
