I was running ok, maybe a little hotter than I should have, but I was comfortable enough to keep going for 10 O&B miles at this effort. But a very sudden stomach issue forced me to stop and find a place to, ahem, go. I got in 8 miles before this event, and I was just under a mile from home, so I basically did a c/d jog home and called it quits.
I was feeling mostly recovered from a tough week last week, and my achilles felt decent this morning. I felt fairly relaxed during the run, and I even had 2 sub-7:00 miles in there. Probably not the worst thing to have to cut it short today. Tomorrow will be a "short" Long Run of about 15 miles, making this somewhat of a "cutback" week, despite the fact that I'll still run close to 75 miles this week.
