Relaxed loops around Hamel Park, trying to keep effort down (HR below 75% Max for most of it), trying to run on grass as much as possible. Fatigue almost overtook me in the 4th mile; I felt like I was bonking, or had low blood-sugar or something. I felt very weak. I'm guessing that it was a result of (a) running in the afternoon, and (b) having a sugar "crash" after eating a large slice of German chocolate cake about an hour or so before running. I'm also noticing that my resting HR seems higher than normal all of a sudden. There were some days post-marathon where my RHR was around 45 bpm. Right now, it seems like it is around 60 or above. So, maybe I've jumped back into running a bit too much too soon. I'll back off a bit.
