Really good workout, all things considered. It was warm and humid this morning! 6 x 800m with 400m jogs. I assumed that my splits were close to 800m in length (running at the park), but the length was closer to 0.51 miles, sooo ... a 3:00 split was close to 5:55 pace, which is a pleasant surprise.
Paces: 5:49, 5:55, 6:01, 6:01, 5:57, 5:58
Power: 314, 313, 310, 306, 310, 308
HR peaking at 173 bpm a couple of times (~94% MaxHR).
All pretty solid, imho. My "goal" power was 310 - 320 W, so I'm toward the low end of this range, yet hitting the desired paces. I think that is a good thing.
