6 x 1 mi Strength intervals -- avg pace was 6:41. Fastest was the 4th one in 6:31, slowest was the 3rd one in 6:45, so pretty evenly paced, especially given that there were uphill and downhill stretches. HR numbers showed more of the effect of varying effort due to hills -- the last mile was a 6:41 with max HR of 162. The 3 prior to that had max HR of 167/168 bpm. I probably pushed a bit too hard today -- goal pace was 6:50, and the intent is to run it at 10 seconds per mile faster than goal MP, which is 7:00. These seem like comfortable paces for these workouts. In reality, I'll probably run closer to 7:15 pace during the actual marathon with the hope of finishing strong (and not cramping).
