Good result for a "training" race. I lined up behind the 1:35 pacer, but I felt very good at the start and it seemed like very little effort today. Only in the last 3 or 4 miles did it start to feel difficult, but I ran and talked to the 4th place female finisher and those last miles flew by. I finished 4th in the 45-49 age group. 2nd and 3rd were under 1:25 and 1:26 respectively, so a big jump to get to that level. But, maybe doable with a focus on a future half.
