Notes
I never understand this. Yesterday was a TOUGH Out n Back run. Legs, particularly hammies, were tight when I got up. I left home without my water bottles! It was COLD out, and there were several inches of snow on the paths for the first (and last) miles of today's run. So I resign myself to doing an easy, slow, long day. No problem ...
I'm not complaining, just confused. From mile 9-14, my splits were 7:30, 7:34, 7:25, 7:25, 7:21, 7:36. That's almost as fast as I was running yesterday. I dunno. Maybe I'd be way better off if I held back to a 8:30 pace on a day like today. Then again, it felt good, and I think a day like today is a good confidence boost 2 weeks before a marathon.
