For how sluggish I felt, my pace wasn’t bad. It felt like I was plodding along at 9:30 pace. Then again, I let HR climb into the upper 130’s and 140’s much more than I should have. Warm and humid, so that may have contributed to HR. I drank 2 bottles of weak Tailwind (naked) during the run, and a Gu afterwards. Legs were done after 18 miles, and I hit 18.1 right at the 2:30:00 mark; that was enough for today.
