10 miles total: 2 w/u, then 7 x 800m at 5K - HMP (roughly?), 1.5 c/d.
First rep, I eased into it with a 6:52 pace. Last rep was fastest at 6:03 pace. HR rose up to about 162 bpm on most reps (after the first 2), but it was not sustained at that level, more of a short peak at ~162 bpm. Recoveries were a full 800m at a fairly easy pace. Legs were feeling quite tired by the end. Was this anaerobic at all? Maybe a bit? But even the Hadd protocol has the 2400m Hadd tests every 6 weeks, which would seem much more anaerobic than this, so I'm not too concerned that I overdid it.
