Easy warm-up jog for 1.13 miles, then 5K, supposedly at an Easy pace ...
It FELT easy, but my pace was about 7:42, and HR about 155 for the first 2 miles.
For mile 3, I sped up a bit, then went ALL OUT for the last quarter mile or so -- HR reached 181!!!
I jogged and walked afterwards for about a mile. The last 3 days were HARD workouts, but they felt good, and the Right Achilles tendon does not seem to be an issue anymore (the hamstrings seem more likely to be the next injury).
