Out n Back, 11.5 miles scheduled, Ran 1 mile w/u, 5 OUT at 7.7 mph, 5 BACK at 7.8 mph, 0.8 miles of cooldown. Avg HR ~150 bpm, max ~156 bpm. Good numbers. I was worried that today's workout might be made more difficult by my running of the Polar Dash 14 miler at 7:17 pace just 2 days ago. I felt a bit sore and tired when I woke up, and really wanted to stay in bed. But once I started, I was fine. We'll see how tomorrow's 18.5 mile Long Run goes (probably on a treadmill ...).
