Notes
Opted for track work today rather than a tempo because I figured it would be good to touch something different and challenging rather than do easy tempo work ahead of Sunday (last year I did 3x (700m, 300m) with Paul Reilly the week before the half and that was tough).
Planned for 3-4 sets but after the 3rd 800m decided that a 4th might be a bit more than I needed this week and did just the 200s. If I didn't have the half this weekend that I wanted to hit hard I would have gone for the last 800. The 200s throughout the workout felt pretty good so the speed is starting to come around a little.
Finished feeling pretty well-worked but not zapped.
