Ran a fun track workout with Dan Wentworth tonight. And by fun, I mean every rep was uncomfortable and I basically never got into a groove, but it felt really productive. I did 3x(300, 300, 600) while he did 3x(200, 200, 400) which allowed us to run together for every rep. Rest was 2 minutes after 200s and 4 minutes after 400s, so slightly less than that for me. Paces were supposed to be based on Dan's current fitness at mile effort for the 200s and somewhere between 2 mile and 5k effort for the 600s. Somehow that meant we ran 32s for the 200s and 73-74s for the 400s. This was significantly faster than I planned on running today but worked out really well. Kid is an animal.
