Pretty sweet track workout tonight. I've been feeling like I could do more than the standard 8x3min and with the last few weeks of mileage and workouts it seemed like a good day to try for it. I think going in with that plan and trying to stay relaxed early in the workout set me up for it really well. I kept losing a second or so on the early reps but figured once I warmed up I'd be under 3:20 anyway and that's what happened. It wasn't too tough to keep the rest to 60s, but I had also figured I might extend it as far as 90 if I really needed it. I'm pretty happy with this one.

A little breeze on each rep with 1 or 2 that were made a little harder because of some stronger wind. Temperature was perfect and I had the track to myself as usual, with 3 guys playing football on the infield.
