Late run with Austin after the SHS vs Shepherd Hill dual meet. We won by just two points after loosing a point here and there early and then Max not placing in the 1000m. Shout-out to Donovan Pou for running his 5th consecutive PR this winter for 2:53, taking 4 seconds off today to place second and keep us in a good spot going into the relays.
This run started on the slow side (7:15 1st mile) but then we got into our normal groove and were excited about track and running. Chilly but nice to be out moving. Left ankle and achilles were a little sore toward the end which was concerning but standing all night at SHS and then not warming up much for this run probably contributed.
