Did 6x800m w/2min recovery. Lucas and I were thinking of doing these in about 2:30 and Austin was doing 3x2000m at the same pace so this worked nicely for us to do reps together. First one was easy, 2nd a little harder, 3rd a little harder than that but I figured the workout would be manageable. 4th was the easiest so far, 5th similar and 6th was alone but still not that hard. Since I was starting at weird places on the track it was hard to get really accurate splits but all of these were essentially right on 2:30 except the last one which was probably 2:26, but I ran for 2:30 anyway. Huge confidence booster and I probably had 2 more reps in me before I would have had to really hurt for it. Felt quick but relaxed.
