Notes

Instead of extended strides I opted for some short threshold effort reps on the track. Would have been fun to run on roads but it was dark and I wanted to be super careful for this "first workout." Ended up with 12 or so minutes warming up, then 60s, 5x90s at about 6 minute pace with 60s jog in between. This felt pretty good! Still feeling a little unstable and unfamiliar running but getting better.

Felt good to run in flats, I'll wear these this weekend rather than spikes.

Taking tomorrow off running, easy and strides Wednesday, maybe off again Thursday and a shakeout Friday before Saturday's race and some rail trial Sunday.
