Fack me, had some real trouble today. Before I get too hard on myself, I think this was a surprisingly tougher workout than expected, but not as tough as the slow paces would indicate (though I do think all the small loops shorted me some distance). JD calls H pace running the pace you could hold for a 10-12 min race, which at this point I imagine is only about 5:20 pace (though hopefully faster). Aimed for that but could not hold it for the life of me... slightly literally because I was having a tough time breathing through this. Really wet air never agrees with the asthma and that's what I was fighting through today, was wheezy and tight-chested. Although, maybe I'm getting a cold (swallowing hurts a bit at the moment)... we'll see tomorrow I guess.

I'm not too worried yet, though. Hey, maybe my watch shorted me on my small loop (FWIW I would have mapped this run as 10.8 pre-GPS), or maybe I've just got residual tiredness/stress from the work week. Plus, this is kind of a transition workout into I running, so I wouldn't expect to be nailing down 5min pace today. But still, should have been able to match my 6k pace for this broken ~6k...
