Feel decently confident about putting this pace, even with trails. Ran with Kevin and Taylor for the first 7. Taylor was feeling good so he kept the pace rolling. I felt pretty crappy for a while, short on breath mostly, and I expected to slow down after they stopped. Maybe I did a bit on the next mile since I went uphill, but then I got over the literal and figurative humps and let loose a bit, felt good. Last 2k on the track just sub 6 pace, nice and smooth (but hey, it's the track). My kind of summer run! All about those negative splits.
