1min standing rest

Got to the track later than I wanted and I thought I might be in the way of setup and teams arriving/watching so I got cold feet and stayed off the track. Totally unnecessary but oh well. Resurrected a Jen Adams loop that sucked, but I knew that going in so it's my own fault but I had nothing better on hand. Starts with an incline, then the only downhill is down Detroit so that hardly helps because you have to hold back to stop yourself from slapping, then another incline with a hill finish. Not ideal but MAKES YA TOUGHER, no?

Anyway, nowhere near a mind blowing workout but it is what it is, some good tempo miles. If you believe in hill converting like I do, take 13 seconds off per mile for a track effort. If you don't, then I DGAF but WATCH YO BACK. Intended to get on the track and regret not doing so, but onto next week which will definitely feature some quicker-than-tempo intervals.

Solid stuff from RPI today!

Every time we did that loop, I felt like I was going to die on the downhill of Beman Lane, then crash through the window of some unfortunate student's apartment.

Haha I hear ya, I actually ended up taking out that hill and just doing Detroit (mapped quick on phone to be sure) but I'm not sure that was any less pounding ha. Jen was a crazy mofo

13 seconds is WACK

It is NOT http://www.runworks.com/calculator.html

According to this calculator my race today converts to a 4:13 mile and an 8:23 3k LOLZ

Ha certain calculators don't work well for converting from short distances. I think the Mcmillan calculator or something like that will tell you that a 4:30 mile is good for like a 7.0 100m. Purdy is good for the mid distances, vdot for the longer
