Ughhhhhhh. This one didn't go my way. Waited until 8:00 for the heat to die down, but felt exhausted all day and didn't even feel good on the warm up. Huge difference running alone. Tried to hold back at first but that didn't really happen, and then I was slightly effed.

Some of the folks back home may be asking, "HEY PAUL, why do 23:20 and not 25:00 like the actual workout?" Well, folks back home, it's because I pussed out after 5K and took a 2 minute break, and then I pussed out even more and just finished with a mile instead of going to the full 25. Won't make excuses, just pussed out. Felt like I was working a lot harder than tempo pace the whole time and got tired of it. Oh well... on to tomorrow.

Ugh I am totally dreading doing the tempo run alone tomorrow.

still fine, long tempo's are hard for mid distance, but will help once you get used to them. Maybe start 5:45-5:50 for the first mile next time. It is ok to build into tempos

Yeah I was aiming for 5:50 to start this time around but got a little excited. Just rough when you start a workout slower than last week's while feeling worse and knowing you have to go even longer. But yeah, still building I guess, I'm guessing the 15/15 will be better next week.
