Notes

Joe biked with me to start to show me the trail he knew, then followed me to the one that I thought he meant. Both were GREAT... for any runs under 1.5 miles, bummer. Then went to a place nearby that looked nice on the map but about three minutes into that path, it became unrunnable. Three misses, though Joe's path will make for a nice little add on. Ultimately will be doing most runs on that long trail I suspect, but was hoping to make a shakeout loop near the apt. Still feeling that out for now I guess!

Putting the same pace as yesterday, can't really map this one. Should be more than fair, bikes make me run faster. Hot day, but waiting until 7 made it acceptable, though plenty humid again. Back on the Paul diet!

Maybe once the paycheck$ start rolling in I'll throw away some money on the devil's toy, a GPS watch. Just to add to the controversy.

Edit, rough map up but that mileage ain't right. Turns out I got about as far as I could have on the third miss so that's reassuring.

Dat mapping struggle

Not sure if a gps watch is going to help you on the trails, they're not very reliable with a lot of tree cover. Might be better off Rob style and just have predetermined distance markers

I could use a GPS watch too.

Yeah true, but at least on runs like this I'd be able to extrapolate pace from what GPS tells me on roads. But I might just go regular watch on trails and once a week do a run I can map completely so I have a rough idea if I'm running way too slow haha
