Decent stuff, big change from last week. Went in without a real plan, and after a few pretty sluggish warm-up miles on some slightly sore legs, I thought it might end up as another dud. But when I started my first M mile, I could tell things were different today. Found a comfortable rhythm pretty quickly and got rolling. Considered 10M but decided that was unnecessary, and even 5/4 was maybe borderline too much but I figured might as well do work when I feel good. Not quite dialed into that pace yet... the pace yo-yoed a bit on the first set of 5, and on the second I had a couple where I spaced out a bit and found myself accidentally running pretty slowly for a half mile or so. Nailed all the splits but in the future I'll want the effort to be steadier and to be able to feel it out better. But definitely coming along and am sure will get rolling soon.

Tempted to take this stupid training plan off my log completely. JD is out of his dang mind with some of these workouts!
