Targeted 2E-3T-7E-3T-(1 or 2)E and whether it was appropriate or not, aimed for 5:40 on the T. That's IDEALLY goal HM pace in a month so I was sort of treating this like a kind of dipstick workout... if I couldn't reasonably manage this at 5:40 pace today there's very little sense in shooting for it at CMHM. Let's say I've demonstrated proof of concept at this point but we'll see what the next few weeks bring. Wore my Flyknit Streaks to test them as a HM shoe (have only worn for 10k) and I think I'll go with them. Once again had a hard time getting rolling on that first T mile but was pretty locked in after that. Last week was maybe more objectively impressive considering the ending pace but I'm more proud of this one I think.
Could have been another 80+ without too much trouble but still solid.
