Notes

I'll call it this pace but it was a wonky run. We ran at the new dirt road again because people were really into it even knowing about the hills... haha, fine by me. Did the road, got onto the loop this time, but accidentally made the first right turn off the loop instead of the second like we had planned before starting. Kinda woodsy, but defined path so looked good for running, even though we were looking for a road. Turned out to be a ridiculous climb, not super steep but constantly rising. We probably went at it for longer than we should have but no one expected it to keep going and going and going. Plus, we had to run down slowly because of wet leaves and big rocks, so that 30 min of up and down wasn't necessarily too high quality, though we were clearly working legs on the up (just maybe not in the long run kind of way). But no one was too pissy, no way anyone really could have known, we just kind of accepted it and made sure the last part was good quality. Ha, most of the group decided to take off immediately though, Rob and I went the more gradual route and tracked them down after 10 min or so. Got to the cars at 88, some added to get to 90, some 100, I went 115, Rob 120, and Tyler a slightly different 120 (not sure why). Looks like Rob and I ran the last 4 at 6:50ish which seemed comparable to the 25-30 min prior (after coming out of the "woods" area). Despite the climb, I don't think anyone killed it, the effort was fine.

We'll figure this road out one day. Not next week, but one day.

Reminded me of my Brookfield adventuring days!'

Also going to try and map to check out this elevation profile. Looks like we almost got to Grafton.

So rough map up but it's not exact since we did some extra stuff in the woods part, plus I don't remember it being so straight so the map itself might be a little inaccurate, but you get the idea.
