Groomsman 3, 4 and 5/5 ✓ Unbelievable! (Joef on WU)

Workout with Rob and Brian plus a bonus 1.5 reps with Pat Cav! I may be wrong but I think this is my last workout with people since the last Brookfield Christmas Boyz Weekend 2 years ago... it's at least the most fun workout I've had since then! We were shooting for 5:44 down to 5:38 so we maybe got a tad carried away but overall pretty solid. Track was still covered in an icy layer of snow so I proposed going back and forth on Longmeadow Hill on the one-mile stretch which is pretty flat. Odd-numbered reps had a slight uphill for the first 1/3 mi I'd say but I think we noticed it more as downhill than uphill. I would kind of set the pace on the odd reps and Rob the even with Brian side-by-side with the leader on all 5. Overall I felt pretty solid and I think the effort was appropriate. Achilles felt fine but I do think the cold air made things more difficult/uncomfortable. Good stuff though.
