Notes
Not a good day. Feeling the race a lot. Ran the first 50 with Taylor before he stopped. He was going to try to do 10+ with me so I'd have company for almost all the run, but said he was feeling the race too much, so the last 35ish were on my own. Felt good for the first part besides soreness, but around 70 just got ZAPPED. The weather was much nicer but I was still sweating plenty and probably never re-hydrated enough from yesterday alone. Let's just say that recovery week started a day early... been a kind of rough week.
Conditions made it tough to get quality training in this week. It's still another longer week than any week last summer, but overall the quality dipped a little compared to the past two weeks. However, the effort was definitely there, and I'm rounding out a tougher training block, so I'm not upset. Down week this week, and then back into workouts, oof. I might take tomorrow off; it's been a while so it might not be a bad idea, but I'll see if I'm still sore.
