Hey I'll take it! Wish I could take the GPS split though, I'd love those few extra seconds haha... should have run those tangents better! Inaugural run in the matumstreaks, they held up and felt great! http://i.imgur.com/KQxxPPt.jpg

Road mile in N Charleston, first road mile for me. From what I hear this one was way better than last weekend so I made the right call. Small event but very well run and a fun time and atmosphere. Put on by a running pal Brian Johnson (even got a little under the table award action). Warmed up alone but did 6mi total afterwards with Chris Bailey, which was sweet because I doubt I would have done that on my own and would have meant more later.

A few years back I did one of the Colonie summer miles in 4:48.x so I figured I was good for about the same today. That said, didn't really have a plan, just knew it was going to feel fast so just tried to get after it and hold on. The course was nice, basically one big loop around the school with every quarter marked. Missed the first one though, so only found out about where I was at halfway. I saw ~2:22 which was relieving. Thought I upped the pace on the Q3 but actually slowed a bit. Buckled down for the last Q and got a little quicker but definitely am not too speedy right now. But I think if I tried again next week I would cut a few seconds off easy just from knowing what it feels like.

Fun stuff, been a while since I've done a mile. As long as Achilles tendons aren't killing me tomorrow I'll call it a very good day. So far so good, feeling fresh as a daisy right now.

Using manual splits and just evenly distributing those extra seconds, looks like roughly 69.5-72-73.4(whoops)-70.1. Not spectacular but I can't complain. Only good for 5th but I'm cool with it.

Only ran 4 faster miles in college, L-O-L. (More if you count 1500s at least but still.)
