A WORKOUT with PEOPLE!

New boss is a runner and is good friends with some of the top locals like Jay and Karl, mentioned today they were doing their Tuesday night track WO and that I should come along! Jay had mentioned to me in the past but it was always too difficult to make from work in Moncks Corner. Have no business doing a workout right now but figured eh why not! Would be a good kick in the butt if nothing else.

Anyway, turns out Jay was the only one working out. Was thinking of just easy running with the rest of the group but already had a workout on the mind and felt like Jay would appreciate some company. He was aiming for 12x400 at ~74 with 200 jog, figured I'd start with every other and do more if I was feeling plucky. These ended up being pretty smooth but didn't want to go crazy so kept it at 6. 600 rest is a good amount for 400s so I'm not too surprised they weren't bad but after the past few weeks I guess I am a bit still. Could be the beginning of a very good thing!
