MIDDAY MIDWEEK MEDIUM LONG RUN! Solid stuff.

My uncle was in Williamsburg last night so I drove out there and grabbed some dinner, did a little trivia night (killed the Mario category), and chatted until 11, then still had an hour back to hotel... long story short, in bed too late for a morning MLR, but had a gap in the workday where I could fit one in during daylight and without the same double double loops. Just stayed later in the day to make up for it, totally worth it. Did mostly tempo-ish stuff last week so went back to "MP" stuff this week... though clearly too fast to actually call it that. But hey, why waste it when you're feeling good! And I definitely was... junky to start, but once I started the faster miles, felt very smooth and almost every time I looked at the watch, the pace was too fast and I'd have to slow myself down. Targeted 6:10 pace so not great in the pacing department but I'll definitely take a good, solid, steady effort... especially because there's 0% chance I would have done such a quality run before or after work.

VCT is at least a little rollier than DI or WAG but overall still very flat.. no doubt I'm getting into solid shape though! These types of workouts really are my jam... one day I'll translate them into a solid marathon... one day. Strava says second-fastest 10mi which I found hard to believe but seems technically correct actually. 1st is obviously my HM but I guess the only thing that competes is the 6M-1T-6M (well, "M") LRWO from March which actually ties this apparently.
