Did I mention I hate I-pace workouts? Dang. I mean, I guess this was fine in the end, right on goal, but it sure felt tougher than expected. I think this was mostly just an off day though... warm-up felt BAD and was thinking of going easy again but knew I'd just keep pushing it off more and more, so decided to muscle through. Was hoping for it to feel better than last week but it was a harder workout so I guess it's okay that it didn't. First one was dumb (opened in 36) and second had a slightly slow second lap but on the other three I was a freaking metronome. 5 reps with a 0.9s span...cmon son!

Can't help but keep comparing to last year... Up until now there isn't too much difference but it was around now last year when I lost a bit of discipline around WOs, so hopefully staying focused and making sure I continue to get in some good I and T work over the next few weeks will put me a notch ahead over last year's CRBR (and hopefully will keep rolling from there).

We'll see about a race this weekend. Really blew it not racing last weekend... that was probably the last good one until CRBR.
