Unfortunately I let Garminator down - or more specifically it's battery life. No GPS stats so only official race stats. The Lions 10 Miles is four laps of approx 4k each in the Brasschaat park over rough trails. With a pretty small participation field it's easy enough to maneuver - a necessity give the rough trails in the park - and from the start I had a good position. It was decidedly warmer than the days before but not so warm that it would really hinder racing. I did start out too fast because of a lack of hrm/speed indication but I kept catching up to people regularly until mid second round when the field had stabilized. I caught a couple more over the last two rounds and was overtaken by only one in the last half round. The last round was hard (in fact the whole race was pretty hard - 16k feels much worse in the woods than in the city) and I definitely lost my speed but I finished at about 12K average to get the new PR (!!)
