Terrain: Asphalt, Trail
Notes: From fairfax center to sky lark. just past the ranger's gate, right onto a trail, then a fairly quickly left. running along the top end of alpine (western edge really) note this trail NOT on map. this turns up back to Bolinas Road. Then its four miles south on Bolinas. Net downhill but lots of up and down. cross Alpine Dam, then take Cataract trail.
Cataract is pretty but gets tough fast with steps and steep incline. There is a well signed turnoff for Helen Markt trail north. Ran alone the eastern edge of Alpine, eventually reaching Bon Tempe dam. Looped around the Bon Temp. Then sylark/bolinas back to town
