Haven't done this in quite awhile so a lot to catch up on!

First the Lutzen 99er was something. What a great experience and even just being on the north shore hiking around made me super nostalgic. "Race" takeaways are that a Cx bike is totally inappropriate there and even Kevin lamented his lack of front shock. Nutrition was on point! I ate roughly every 30 minutes and drank when I felt thirsty and did great. Coke at mile 85 was ambrosia. What a delicious drink. I would love to run there. What stellar terrain and beautiful countryside.

After that my legs felt fine but Jason gave me an easy week... which went well until I got a sinus infection. First doctor didn't give me antibiotics so I had to wait until Tuesday to see Dr. Grey. Thankfully they immediately cleared up the discolored snot and throat but sinuses and ears are still pressurized. Legs feel great however!

Chess... is worth noting because it's a competing hobby and I've been doing great. I tied Joeseph for first in the club tournament two weeks in a row and have been going out to Quentins and playing well. I've also been eating a ton there (ok) but having 2-3 drinks and short sleep is being felt on Thursdays. Next week when I'm healthy enough for Thorsday, I'll have a choice to make.

Other note: I've actually been having trouble falling asleep. I need to try reducing caffeine.

Finally the Plantar Faciitis has come back but mildly. I'm doing lots of eccentric heel drops but all straight leg. Usually something like 10straight, 10 in, 10 out, 10 straight switch legs with a nice slow count to 5 on the right (bad) leg and a quick 4 count down on the left leg. The 2 sets of 10, 5, 5, 10 s gets a fair amount of training in and I think the toe in variant is specifically helping.
