Why do I run: Wow, so many more reasons now, in over 10 years of running:
- Helps relieve stress and makes me feel good
- I can challenge myself, test my boundaries
- Feeling of accomplishment when I achieve a new goal
- I can eat more food while maintaining weight (though right now I'd like to lose 10-20 lbs!)
- I enjoy meeting people at races -- runners are cool!
- So many more reasons, I could go on all day! |
Why I started running: I started running in May 1996 in order to lose weight and to challenge myself. In high school I hated running (dreaded that mile run test). When I was 14 I had my knee scoped and my ortho said not to run. I was ok with that at the time. If only he could see me now!!! |
