Wire to wire win...by almost 2 full minutes. Tied my PR, which, on this course I will take and take gladly. That was a biatch of a second half.
Could feel after first quarter mile no one was near me, and I was in full easy cruise control, so wasn't worried a bit. By the turnaround it was confirmed, mine to win, just had to bring it home. And did.
Also, team won both Men's Open and Masters Open, women open got third. Not a bad night.
MTA: splits...5:10 / 5:45 / 6:10 / 0:37 - and totally okay with those - normally that'd be ugly, but pretty well shows what this course was about.
