Why do I run: I run because it is a nice way to think to other things than only about my job. It is for me also a challenge to see if I can better. To see what my limits will be. At this moment I have no idea. If I train well, it can run faster and I can run longer distances. These long distances I like very much. Just some hours running with my nose in the wind. Writing this down, I feel the wind and the sun, sometimes some rain, and I feel my muscles no longer as fresh as when I started. But home is the finish and I will get. Already thinking about the new run, what to do next time? I like long straight pieces of asphalt or dirt roads, these last roads not too soft.
Foot races with a large group of people I will never do. Marathons I run by myself, may be more than other people think. I have not to prepare for a marathon. If I have in mind to run a marathon I do it.
When there would be asked to run a half marathon,
I have no problem with it. Two hours and I'm back. |
Why I started running: I was 50 years old when I started with running. My wive started with running. At one evening I run with
here, to see how it would go, and I kept running. |
